So I was stupid and bought the game twice, one for N64, and 1 for Playstation. Honestly, I think the platstation vesion is better because the controls are easier, but even if you buy the n64 version, you still wont regret it! I like the N64 version because I think it's a lot easier to move your character. I've never tried the Dreamcast version, but im guessing it's probaly somewhere in between. The game is awesome, it's so easy to skate and do tricks! I mastered all the moves in both versions. Honestly, I love skateboarding, I bought so many different skateboarding games, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is by far the best!

Finally a skateboarding game for N64, and it's ...! This isnothing like the PlayStation version. First off, the music is .... It is just repetive. Second off, the sound affects are nothing compared to the PlayStation one (I would give the PlayStation one 5 stars). Buy it if you don't have a PlayStation, but if you have a PlayStation, buy it for PlayStation.

Considering all the games I have, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is probably the most extreme and fun game I've ever experienced. The reason why it's a good game, is because there's always new tricks to try at and new levels to open. It's one of those games where you don't stress over the objectives in the game. For example you can stay in front of the TV playing for hours, basically having FUN! The only downside is that you need a Memory Card to save your progress in the game(like most games). It's still beyond fun if you don't have a memory card, but it doesn't allow you to start at levels or characters you left off at(like the secret character-but you'll figure that out yourself). Don't worry about spending an extra few bucks on a Memory Card, because it's well worth it. In general Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is worth buying itself. Even if you're not into skateboarding, it's still very fun. Let's hope they have a game as good as this for Nintendo Gamecube!

this game is awesome. I bought it in june and I am still playing it. The levels are huge and detailed, i spent days just skating the san francisco stage, the stages are huge and you'll probalbly never find every line possible in the game. The graphics are pretty good too. The controls are so simple and easy to get used to. In 5 minutes you'll be throwing down the hardest tricks. This game is so fun, this game should never get boring. It also includes music from bands like the Suicide Machines, Suicidal Tendencies, Goldfinger, and Primus. this game is worth every penny you pay for it.
