This game is horrible! I like fishing gfames, but this game just bites. You only can fish in a few areas, along the coast. You can't move your boat except sideways. You can't even move your character! You can only catch one type of fish, thats bass. The whole game is made frantic and fast paced, like an arcade game. That is what it is, a quick arcade game that get's boring FAST. The announcer is also very annoying, like "Turn the rod LEFT" and fast annoying music. You have to catch a certain number of fish in a time limit to even pass the level! Forget this game. Get Trophy Bass 3-D for computer instead.

For years I have been watching the kids play these games. This year we received the Sega Dreamcast and a few games. One time playing this game and I was hooked! It is fun and exciting for us especially since there is a pond in our back yard so this really gives us a look from their side. At least this way I get to catch, but don't have to clean.Everyone that has come over to visit us has ended up wanting to play this game and enjoying it very much. It's a lot of fun to watch as well.

I really thought this game was going to be great. The sampler disc that comes with the Dreamcast has a demo of the first level of the game and I really enjoyed playing it. I got a copy of this game and was quickly disapointed to learn that there are only three levels (plus a fourth hidden level) in the game. I was completely done with the game 15 minutes after popping into the console. Major disapointment! I envsioned a game with dozens of levels that would provide hours of fun, but found that not to be the case. The animation and game play are pretty cool, but the short gamespan made for a bummer of an experience.

Soul caliber is the number one reason to buy dreamcast. well it really is a great fighting games but if u turn up the difficulty level it really starts to get hard. There are many features and if very loyal to the arcade. This is the game to get for all you sega fans because when playstaion 2 comes out this will be segas best argument against tekken tag and the bouncer anouned for psx2. so do yoour selves a favor and pic this games up, its definitely worth it.

Who would think a fishing game would be this much fun? I've never been fishing in my life so I don't know how it compares to really getting out there and landing a big one (not very well i would guess) but I can tell you it's a lot of fun and very addictive. Some folks I've spoken to about this game swear by the fishing controller but I say save your money. The fishing controller only vibrates-it doesn't pull forward or tilt like the arcade version. As long as you have the jump pack in the standard controller the feel is pretty much the same.
