If you loved this game in the arcades, buy it. Marvel vs. Capcom is an EXCELLENT port. But, if you beat the arcade machine into a pulp, there is not much more to satisfy you. There is NOTHING wrong with this game, except the fact that it has all been done before. The game is not an innovator, it just fills the slot for 2D figher. It all comes down to whether you are addicted to Street Fighter or not. If you want the most bang for your buck, do yourself a favor and buy Soul Calibur.

This has to be THE most overrated game on DC. It's not that good. The control (with a standard DC pad) is lame, unless you have the money to buy an arcade stick. Even then, the gameplay is very limited. The graphics are very ugly and low-res. Nigtwarriors on Saturn looks better than this! The characters are small and grainy. The sound is also screwy. Some of the music will give you a migrane. Wait for Street Fighter Alpha 3 or Street Fighter III on DC. Parents shopping for their kids be warned: this game will only be fun for a few days before it gets old (and it gets old FAST).

Marvel Vs. Capcom is a great game it's just not really made for Dreamcast, first of all the controler is not suited for playing Capcom fighters, with the exception of Power Stone, so ight want to get an arcade stick for this one, the game is real fast and the lots and lots of coler exposions, and if you've play the arcade game you know what I'm talking about. As for the display, well... Capcom sould have spent alittle more time on the coversion because 2D does not look good in high-resilution, the charaters look all bocky and the colers are not as bright and vibrant ass the arcade version, The game is still as fun and popping your friends up into the are for a devastating air-combo and pulling off super moves are still as satisfying as the acrade.

The game is ok, it's too much action and too fast. It's also a hard game too. It's a nice 2-D graphic game but I would have to go with Street Fighter. Marvel vs. Capcom is pretty good and it's fun with your friends so don't open the wallet too wide if you're not into fighting games that much.

An awesome fighting game that bring 2-D fighting back from the dead, lots of characters to choose from for an even 4plyr rumble, also includes helper characters to choose for your fight,I'm telling you this game Rocks!...still I think they should of include some more Marvel characters.But an awesome choice to buy if you like fighting games like street fighter or even if you dont, buy it!
