This is a really fun and interesting game. The graphics are good (for the N64) and it is very fun. The music is top notch including several hits from games that have come out in the past such as "LEGEND OF ZELDA" and "POK'E'MON". The characters are all originally from Nintendo games and often can do attacks they could also do in their original game! Anyway, get this game.

This game is a classic fighter, no doubt about that, but why should you get this game if you have a N64? I'm here to tell you why! This game may have out-dated polygonal graphics, but the game is so sweet, you'll think that you're the character you're controlling! And the sound is so cool, you'll think that you'll be watching the fight with other crowd members. However, this game has it's downsides, Pikachu is VERY annoying and hard to fight with! Link doesn't get the height he DESERVES when he uses UP & B! Lastly, you can't use the grappling items, I.E. "Hook Shot" and "Grappling beam" aren't used in the air. But those are the ONLY downs! So GET THIS GAME!

In 11 years, I've played A LOT of video games, and this is the best N64 game I've ever played!!! 4 guys to unlock and one new stage to unlock, (so they're not big on the unlocking business)graphics WAY WAY WAY ahead of it's time, an awesome 1P mode, and 4P access make this game most excellent!!!! If you like Metroid games, Star Fox games, and Pokemon games, you'll LOVE Super Smash Bros!! Oh and to get Luigi beat all the original guys Target Tests and to get Jigglypuff beat 1P mode on any level, easy works!!!

Super Smash Bros. is one of the first games I bought for the Nintendo 64 and I was not disappointed.The levels are great although they are limited the characters are all obviously awesome and the gameplay is solid.Although Super Smash Bros Melee is obviously better(more stages,more characters,more moves,characters easier to unlock,better levels,better graphics,etc)it is still one of my favorite games.The controls are pretty solid.The CPUs are challenging and its still exciting.I say get this game youll be glad you did.If youre not already a big Smash Bros. fan youll become one.

Since I play games alone it gets kind of boring but this game was the opposite of that. I really had a great time playing it You get to play your favorite video game characters like Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong.(Those are my favorites) all in one fun game. I have had it since it first came out in 1999 and at first it was really fun because it was a new game that I never played before and since then I have played it a lot. The thing I love about a game is the mystery especially when it came to gaining the hidden fighters (Luigi, Ness, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff)and another thing I liked about this game was the final boss, Master Hand. Although you don't get to play him (which sucks because the computer always gets the best ones)I enjoy challanging him because he has the best attacks in the game but one thing I didn't like about the game was that fighters had the same attacks as others but there were some other features I liked about the game such as the abaility to use any item you want(item switch feature)without having to use all of them, the arena design because i love arenas that are out in the open not closed in like Battle Arena Toshinden 3, and the abaility to team up with other figthers. Since I play alone I have one computer opponent as a teammate and play against one other computer opponent. Although I didn't excatly give 5 stars I still thought it was a great fighting game to play.
