I ordered this item back on June30, I have not received it yet. I am very upset about this. I don't know if I will order anythng else or not. It is not fair to have paid for something and I have not received it. I have tried to contact the people and they have not emailed me back. I want the expansion pak sent to me or my money back. i think i got this 3 years ago and it did nothing to the graphics this is awful

Luckily, I got my expansion pack with Donkey Kong 64,so I didn't have to spend 30 bucks for it. There is a significant difference with the 4 megabytes of extra video memory, but it's nothing revolutionary. However, because quality games like Donkey Kong and Perfect Dark require it, it must be purchased. There are also several games that don't require the expansion pack, but benefit from its use (Top Gear Overdrive, Rouge Squadron). The bottom line: if you're a 64 owner/player, you should probably buy the expansion pack.

This is a cool accesory because it can improve the graphix for your console! It is a must-buy because not only that, but you need it to play DK64 and maybe some other games. It is awsome-and is guaranteed to work! Awsome! Buy it now! Awsome!

First ignore what Timm said, because no matter how much memory the 64 will have, it will NEVER be better than the PS1. The system is pretty old now so I would recommend getting a PS2 instead but if you are still thinking about getting this Expansion Pak, I recommend that you do. The graphics in some games turn out way better, the pak kind of filters out all the black dots and blurs and such, making the game seem more clearer and surreal. I payed a pretty penny for this little pak but it was worth it. Either way the 64 will never be better than any Playstation system, but with the EP it turns out to be a very decent system indeed.
