i love this expansion pak it adds graphics to the games i play and makes it so i can collect all the game out there for a n64. i highly recommed this to anyone looking to upgrade there n64.

I have one of these for my N64 ( of course ) & it works just fine.
Theres no dramatic increase in the screen graphics per se', but, due to having more memory to work with there is a more consistent 'Frame Per Second' flow, meaning that the games dont bog down when the screen graphics &/or action increase.
Also, Ive had no problem with the Expansion Pak, either with installation or operation. Its just a memory chip & while its vital to the operation of the game/system it isnt what I would call a "working part" thats going to damage anything. Im not saying it couldnt, just that its probably no more likely than a part you might buy directly from Nintendo.
And there are some games that require the extra 4 mb of memory to access the full functionality of the game itself.
If youre going to play with the N64 system you should, IMO, try to get the most out of it. And while the added 4 mb of memory may not be required to play your favorite game, at this price, its still a worthy addition.
So you can spend $15 or more for a memory chip or $4 for a memory chip, but you are 99.9% likely to receive the same chip, just wrapped in a different box.

I just bought the expansion pack so I could play Donkey Kong which is a cool game even though its old.

The N64 games that I own all worked great with the Expansion Pak. There is significant speed increase in Star Wars Rouge Squadron, and Perfect Dark played like a dream. Its deffinitely worth the purchase and it will make your games look and play so much better.
