Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a game unlike anything you can imagine
my parents bought me this game for my 8th birthday, back when it came out. the pure emotion this game brought me was indescribeable. a few days ago i dusted off my n64 to reminisce of some good ol' days, and this game is still my favorite game of all time. it sends you into a state of mind that makes you feel just at peace(and thats just the opening music). In todays gameing world full of high end graphics and intense realism, the games are missing something you cant describe that makes this game so great. if you play this game i guarantee you will love it...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Videogame Ever
This is the best video game ever, IMHO. It has a great plot, great characters and great fun! They should seriously make a movie! The main character is Link, a young boy who lives in a village beyond Hyrule Field. One day, he is called upon by the Great Deku Tree. He sends you on a quest to save Hyrule from the evil Gannondorf, who is the best game villian ever, IMHO. First, you have to go inside the Great Deku Tree and destroy Queen Gohma. When you ride into Hyrule, the real adventure begins. Whren you enter Hyrule, you will eventually run into Rauru The Sage who tells you to go to the Forest Temple(I think). On the way, you defeat Dodongo and save Princess Ruto from the belly of Jabu Jabu(Again, I think). When you finally get to the first Temple, you have to defeat Phantom Ganon and meet up with Saria The Sage(Link's friend)and you go to the Fire Temple to defeat Volvagia etc. After hours of playing, you will have gotten all the Sages. Hyrule Castle is now a fortress to Gannondorf with no bridge to cross the lava moat, aso the Sages create a bridge for you. Inside, you defeat Gannondorf, rescue Zelda and save the kingdom. Or so you think. You have to battle the final bos, Gannon and escape the castle quickly. If you make it, you will have beaten the game.

Myy only complain is that some of thne Temples are frustrating. My favorite temple is either the Shadow Temple or the Forest one. On the way, you meet cool characters like the various scarecrows, Malon, Ingo, Talon etc.

Anyway, if you have N64, you BETTER have this game. If not, buy it right now!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect
Although I like the SNES Zelda best, you really can't make a game better than this one. Sometimes a game is made that goes above and beyond 5 stars. This game is like that.

A vast amount of items, all found in unique ways. Awesome. Lots of giant evil bosses. Awesome. Lots of underground hidden stuff. Awesome. Lots of weird folk to talk to. Awesome. Time travel in a HUGE mythical world. Awesome. Lots of mini-games to play for cool prizes. Awesome. Just so many awesome things packed into this ONE game. I usually only recommend rentals, but a rental wouldn't do this game justice. You have to buy it, you have to beat it, and you have to find every secret. Live this game, and every now and then, live it again.

I'll also recommend buying some kind of strategy guide, or looking for tips online to find everything. I've heard that there is a giant monsterous eel-like fish in the pond, but I have yet to catch anything like that.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This, in my opinion, is one of the best games ever. The story line is rich, the characters are interesting, and it is very fun to play. The game strikes a perfect balance between combat and puzzles. It's so exciting when you first take the Master Sword out of its pedestal! However, I think the music tops it all. All the themes are well done, and you get the feeling that Nintendo put a lot of time into the game. Some people like the 2-D Zelda games more, and I respect that, but I like the 3-D ones better. Overall, this is a must-have if you own an N64, and if you don't, well, you are missing out on a very good game.
