Rogue Squadron is one of the best Star Wars and N64 games ever. You get to choose from 5 different craft (9 with cheats). The best is the V-wing though. There are a total of 15 missions and 3 more as you progress. The replay value of this game is sweet. The medals make you want to keep playing until you win. 1 downside, though, is the enemies. The toughest ones are the missle turrets and landing craft. The TIEs are no match for a highly souped up X-Wing with Seeker Proton Torpedoes, and advanced lasers and shields. Once you start taking down walkers with the speeder, you can start doing it in your sleep. Also, the voice-overs could be better. Han's stunk, so's did Riekaan and Madine. The missions needed to be more difficult enemy wise because in the Mos Eisley level, a V-wing with Seeker Cluster Missiles can take down those pansy probe droids in a sec. The graphics and play control a pretty good, and better with the expansion pak. You must play this game if you own an N64. Playstation is getting all the good Star Wars games.

If you like Star WArs you'll love this game. although I'm certainly fond of "Shadows" I like this game better. However I'll probably always like StarFox better even though it is a rail shooter. I like the fact that this game has more missions than starfox though.

Rogue Squadron is, like I said, SUPER AWESOME! If you don't have this great space blaster game on your N64, you DO NOT know what you are missing out on. Shooting TIE Interceptors and other "bogies" is what I really need to satisfy me in a game! You, as Commander Luke Skywalker, are assigned to special rescue /destroy /protect missions including Beggar's Canyon runs, destruction of Imperials' Tibanna gas tanks on Bespin (well, actually, it's on Taloraan, but it sure reminds one of Cloud City), freeing Wedge Antilles' imprisonment on an Imperial hovertrain on Kessel, and my two favorite, the killing of the Death Star, and the snowy Battle of Hoth. All I can say is that this game is the ultimate classic game favorite, and good luck on your many different missions of the Galactic Civil War, and......may the Force be with you.

I rented this game on friday and it is so cool you get to choose frome six different fighters and you can even unlock the millinume falcone and the detail is great but the graphics are kind of computorish but it is the best game i've played yet.

This is truly an awesome game. If you have a love for Star Wars and you love playing video games you will love this game. I think that the voices are plenty real and the graphics (with the expansion pak) are amazing. Flying with all different rebel ships (including the Naboo Starfighter and Millenium Falcon) give much variety to each level. The game is very challenging but don't get frustrated. I give this game five stars.
