"Rogue Squadron" continued the series of good Star Wars games for the Nintendo 64 with good flare. It had some of the best graphics seen on the system at the time when it first came out. The terrains, the ships, and the enemies look realistic, and there's not much pixelization in the game at all. The action is fast and furious and the gameplay couldn't have been much better. The sound in "Rogue Squadron" is almost as good as the graphics. From the laser shooting to the sounds of destruction, this game's sound roars with intensity. The only thing that keeps the sound from being perfect is that Luke Skywalker and some of the other characters don't sound anything like they do in the real movies. The control is top notch, allowing you to make tight turns and every other maneuver without a flinch.
The only drawback that I could see with "Rogue Squadron" is that after the first level, the game gets almost impossibly hard. There should be a training mode so that you could get used to some of the missions that you have to accomplish before you actually have to try them. Other than that, this is a great game and anybody that likes shooting/action games and Star Wars fans should like "Rogue Squadron" pretty good.

Rogue Squadron. Every Star Wars fan knows the elite starfighter group of pilots. Now you get the opportunity to experience what it feels like to hop into the cockpit of an X-Wing,Y-Wing,A-Wing, V-Wing, Millenium Falcon, T.I.E. Interceptor, and the Naboo Starfighter. As you fly through over 15 missions, ranging from Tatooine to Mon Calamari, you'll earn ranks in the squardron. With each mission you complete, you'll earn a medaland be promoted. Do you have what it takes to buy this game, and prove you've got what it takes to be a top fighter pilot?

Excellent gameplay and sound effects make for a good flight expeirience and a very realistic enviroment! Lots of talk on the radio about the status of the mission and of course the occasinal death scream. [although i think they overdid it with Lukes scream!]

I know what you want to hear first What are the good part of the games and what are the con's first let do the goods
Goods: Gameplay is great, you get to be Luke Skywalker and take on the Impeier, you get to take down; Tieds, AT-ATs, AT-STs, AT-PTs, Turrents, and other stuff that is fun taking down. It as a great story line, (o yeah if you want to her a great story don't skip through the cut sceens). You have wing men that, finally helps you and talks to you. The AT-ATs and AT-STs finally monve not like Shodows of the empire There is alot more good thing about this game like the sound graphics but i only get to describe this game in 1000 words so lets move on.
The Cons: Some of the explosians are'ent that great Some times you wish that you were on the dark side Some of the levels from the movie don't look like the one in the movies, but all and all it isa great game.
If you are a starwars fan don't even think of saying "i'll look around" or "NA"...
But if you are'nt a huge star wars fan still get it, cause it is a great game with out being star wars fan.

I hade thisgame when it came out and that was about 2 years ago and i still love it sso if you want a game that will intreste you for a while get it o yeh for got to tell ya this game is preety hard but not to hard but if you want it harder enter ACE at the password screen it will make it harder. All the missions are land missions and they get boring after awhile. This a good game to play when your bored. It's one of my favorites. Not close to Colony Wars though. If you like Star Wars buy this. It is a good space battle game. It would be nice if a battle took place in space though. I give RS *Bulls-eyes four womp rats* four stars.
