Ever wish you could fly the legendary X-Wing, or perform a bombing run with the bulky Y-Wing? With Rogue Squadron, you can. It is geared towards a fan of Star Wars, but anyone who wants a challenge can play. This game is set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes back and puts you in contorl of the best fighters of the time, and lets you fly in many worlds that can be recognized from the movie, and others that are new, but very interesting. The graphics are good, but not perfect, even with the expansion pak, and the sounds are even better. Sounds range from explosions (even when your hit, which can happen a lot if you're not careful) to lasers and even voices of your squadron members. I gave the game a five since all-in-all, the game was good. Even though the graphics aren't perfect, they are real enough and gave a nice touch to the game. Other that that, the storyline is developed well with some interesting twists here and there, and the game offers a rare chance to pilot some really cool fighters.

I've been a Star Wars fan for four years now and it's one of the coolest things around. I got Rouge Squadron because it looked like a really good game and I haven't been dissapointed at all. It's my dad's favorite game and my best friend comes over just to play Rouge Squadron. It's good handling, the graphics are fantastic and the missions are hard but fun. The cheats are cool, especially the Naboo Starfighter one. If you have a N64 and love Star Wars then this is for you. May The Force Be With You!

What a great game! It has great graphics, action, and color. If you are a piloting game fan this is a must. There are five ships all with many cool weapons. This game also has many levels so it will take you a long time to beat. This game has the characteristics of a winner. BUY IT!

Rogue Squadron continues the string of great Star Wars games for the Nintendo 64 with good flare. There's not many games that can top Rogue Squadron in the graphics department. The terrains, the ships, and the enemies all look realistic. The action is fast and furious and the gameplay is awesome. The sound in the game is only scarred with Luke and the others' voices. They don't sound anything like the ones from the movies. Otherwise, the graphical and sound effects couldn't be much better. The control is top notch letting you go into tight corners without having to flinch. The only drawback to Rogue Squadron is that after the first level, the game is one of the most difficult ever made. There should be an easy mode for the flyers who are not yet experts at flying or shooting targets. That takes away from the replay value in the long run after you figure out that you probably won't ever be able to pass that next level. Other than that, this is a great game and any action/shooting fans or Star Wars fans will probably like this game.

This game is great. Altough the graphics could be a lot better, the game's story line is interesting and the controls are fun. I've had this game for about 6 months and still enjoy it immensely. It was definitely worth every cent I payed. My favorite part of this game is the special ships, such as the Naboo N-1 Starfighter and the Millenium Falcon, as well as a buick that looks like the "flying car" from MIB.
