This Game is Extremely Violent as far as Video Games go. But all Video games, including this one look sooooo fake that it will DEFINATELY NOT make someone want to commit Violence. Just Get this game, It is a lot of fun to play. I suggest Ages 15 and up only though.

Nightmare Creatures is by far one of the most chilling and enjoyable games for the N64. At first you get hooked into the zombies and all the fleshy, smelly, greusome baddies. As the game goes on your fear almost melts away and you will figure out that you need these creatures for your adrenaline bar so you won't become a zombie yourself. To sum up the game I have a few comments 1. Killing the baddies is a whole lot of fun. 2. Rent this around Halloween it will get you into the spirit 3. The gameplay is exactly the same as Tomb Raider especially if you play as Nadia.

I prefer the excitement of reeling in a large mouth bass inBassMasster 2000 over the violence in this game. END

Suprisingly scary, extremely gory, terrible play control. That's "Creatures" in a nut-shell. It is to my understanding that this game came out for Playstation before the N64. Maybe it needed more development time to enhance the creepy graphics. Or mabye it was to add more creature sounds you here in the distance. Well, whatever it was, it sure wasn't play control. Sudden camera angle changes make the controls hard to manage and frustrating. But I'm guessing it WAS the graphics because they are better than great, suprisingly. What makes the game so scary are when monsters suddenly pop out of no where and make you jump. It's also the tense music and creature sounds that are heard right before the monsters jump out of nowhere. Not for the squeamish.
Here are the key elements that make a game good: (Out of 10)
Scares: 9
Suspense: 8
Graphics: 9
Game Design: 7
Play Control: 5
Satisfaction: 7
Sound: 10
