Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Mario Clone that was worth making
Okay, this game was defenitly worth making. This plays a lot like Mario 64 does, but there are a lot more features. Take transforming for example, once you get enough Mumbo Tokens, you can go to Mumbo's house and for the correct fee, he'll transform you into things like ants, crocodiles, bees, pumpkins, and walruses. The graphics are very impressive, what you would expect from a rare game. The Envirorments are very open so you can explore all you want. The game is somewhat easy at first level, but gradually works up in difficulty as you advance in the levels. Now the story. You play as Banjo and Kazzoie, best friends who are working together to save Banjo's sister. Banjo is lazy and Kazzoie is a smart mouth. See, Gruntilda, a really ugly witch created a beatuty transferer which would trade her uglyness to a pretty person and get the other persons beuaty. Now all she has to do is get a pretty person cuz all her friends are ugly. She kidnaps Tooty, Banjo's sister, and plans to use her as her subject. Like Mario 64's Peach's castle, this game's "map" is Gruntilda's Lair. Your objective is to get puzzle pieces, once you get enough of these, you can put puzzles together and open new worlds. This is a fun adventure game which deserves to be bought. You'll love it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun for all ages
Great game that is playable for people young and old. The massive worlds, wacky characters, dozens of moves, and challenging bosses, this is a game to keep you going for weeks. If you liked Donkey Kong 64 and other platform games by Rare, this game is for you.

P.S.: Don't get the strategy guide unless you're at the point of breaking the console over someone's head. Even then, your hopes should stay "high"...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Fun!
This game is very fun and it is not very easy. There are some things that make this game the best. Ex: Mumbo, the unique moves and much more! Great game for everyone!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun for Daughter and Dad!
A wonderful game that provided my 11 year old daughter and me (43 years old) with over a hundred hours of fun. Problem-solving adventures combined with some challenging action. We actually discuss the game on long drives. Can't wait for Banjo Twoie, the sequel!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Yer darn tootin'
Believe the Hype! This game is so much fun, I swear I have had dreams about it. That makes me feel a little pathetic, but it is still an amazing testament to the wonder that is Banjo-Kazooie. The thing that thrills me most about this game is that it has the immediate thrill of adventure games (run and jump)but it is mixed with puzzles that involve thinking (sorta like Myst meets Mario). It's an amazing combination and a highly addictive game. I have stayed up many nights thinking, "I'm not going to bed until I get that golden puzzle piece." My only gripe is that the camera doesn't follow you very well, but you can usually remedy this problem with the C- buttons. Still, this is only a drop in the bucket. The rest is nearly flawless.
