The Pedal Metal works great. My pedal broke in 2 parts so it was either this or getting a new pedal for the drums, and I couldnt be happier with my decision. AND it arrived much earlier than it was supposed to. Great product.

Calling all you rockstar moms! Are you sick of calling EA about this lame pedal, or, are you sick of carting the drum set with the box and the receipt with the "protection plan" back to the big box store and wasting time in line? You can fix this problem once and for all with this Petal Metal Billet. I did it myself today with granny helping hold the piece together. You just need a screw driver. And it was EASY. Great product! I snapped my kick pedal into two pieces. I ordered this new plate and it arrived very fast. The instructions are clear and easy. I had it installed in no time, and I'm not very handy. It not only fixed the broken pedal, but it's better than it was before. I endorse this for all rock banders.
Rating: - Worked as expected
While it was nice that the product included clear directions and plenty of help, the directions suggested that (1) removal of the pin would be easy and (2) not to use an electric screwdriver for over-torque potential. I found that the pin was a real pain to remove on my PS3 model and using a hand screwdriver was futile. Nonetheless, the product installed fine leaving the existing pedal attached and using an electric screwdriver.
Installed in less than 10 minutes and I'm no longer fearing the original plastic pedal will snap at any moment.
