Rating: - Not 1600mAh, still pretty ok though for the price
Well, first of all, I was rather surprised to receive a completely different battery than that shown in the image. Perhaps they were forced to redesign the look of it or something since it infringes on the look of the stock battery? Or maybe they were having too many complaints and/or problems. Either way, the seller sent me a very different looking battery, one that looks far more generic and is rated at 1000mAh. I was a bit annoyed at first for not receiving a 1600mAh battery, but upon reading the other reviews and trying this one out, I think I'm actually rather happier because of the seller's choice. I think that even though it looks more generic, it is actually a pretty good battery. It seems to be holding a very good charge. I could say it's a lot better than my stock battery, but admitedly that battery has seen a fair bit of use over a decent amount of time since I bought my DS used, so I can't really say much about it versus the stock, but I can say that for the money I paid I got a battery that I suspect is at least equal to the normal stock battery. Not a bad price really for a lithium-ion battery since those are so proprietary. It's only because of the DS's popularity that you see such a pricetag really. For the amount spent, I'd say getting a 1000mAh battery that actually seems to be 1000mAh is worth it. I now only have to charge my DS about once a week it seems like. Of course, I don't play excessively and every now and then try to plug it up while playing at home anyway.

I had this rechargable battery in my son's DS, works fine recharges fast, it makes its work fine. We have used it for 2 weeks, and have not problem with it.

Brand New. 1600 mAh. vs nintendo's stock of 1000 mAh. Works Perfectly. Lastes for hours. Highly Recommend if you need a new battery. Its a great price, and ships fast.

Fits right in your DS and charges in a couple hours. I plugged these batteries into a LiPo analyzer and they can only hold 750mah, not 1600mah as listed. And even then I could only get a couple hours of playtime out of it. ... Take my advise and spend the extra 10 the legitimate 1000mAh battery from Nintendo.
