Players take part in epic battles from both the original series (Episodes IV, V, VI) as well as the prequel trilogy (Episode I, II, III.) The game liberally borrows concepts from EA's Battlefield series, transplanting the competitive action into the Star Wars galaxy. Rating: - A Classic, From Any Aspect
This game is lots of fun. Gameplay is smooth and the DVD quality is very high. The game still has support from the manufacturer. There is an avid on-line community which loves to play this game, even though it debuted several years ago. I think it has to do with a combination of the Star Wars mythology and how much fun this game is to play. I originally bought this PC game a few years ago in the CD-ROM version. I now have the DVD version on my laptop. My son and I go online together and play this game. Sometimes we are on the same side, sometimes not, but we've had a lot of laughs playing this game. He gets a kick out of "whacking" the old man! Some people may consider this violent but we treat it like a virtual paintball game (there is no animated bloodshed).
Highly recommended! Best $10 you can spend on a game.
