This replica has english writing on it! There are four ports on it with the letters B, E, S and E above them. Now we all know Star Wars has no English writing in it whatsoever. Oh and yes, I'm not including the "made in China" printed on the hilt.

I bought this for my husband for christmas last year and YES he still takes it outside and acts like a child. HE LOVES it and the other adult guys love it too. Great gift for an adult guy who still thinks he's a kid!

They (I also bought an Anakin blue) live up to what I expected. The red isn't as bright as the blue one, as expected, but it still looks very good, especially in low light. I took a video in regular and very low lighting. On my machine, they really stand out. On my video they actually look like special effects! In the really low light, on video, they look like the movie.
The hilts are solid metal seem very durable. On the Vader one, there are a couple plastic pieces, like screws that strip easy (one seemed to just pull out). Those pieces aren't very good, but everything else, including the black plastic on the top is pretty decent. The sound effects are good. Impact sound is almost to real-time. Very good. Light-up and down effects look great. Overall I am pretty impressed. You pay for it, hough. I thought I got a bargan and still paid in $80s for them. Still a good $20-$30 less than retail, even after 2-day shipping.
Note: The vader hilt is noticeably heavier than the Anakin. Not sure why.
