Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun cooking game
I got this game because I love to cook.
In this game you play the role of a little girl named Lisa who takes cooking lessons from a cook named Rachel. You get to cook a lot of different things. In each lesson you cook a main dish and two side dishes and at the end of each lesson the other characters such as: Rachel, Lisa's mom, and Lisa's friends taste the cooking an see how they like it and give you a grade. This game also has 8 bonus games, practice for each cooking technique and it lets you do freestyle which you can cook whatever you what.
Some advantages I can think of for this game is it doesn't time you like on the other cooking games for nintendo ds and whenever you save it the game gives you a percentage to tell you how much you played.
One disadvantage is between each lesson there is a lot of dialouge between the characters and can get boring sometimes.
Overall I think this is a fun game and I recommend it to people you like to cook.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good Cooking Game
My mom bought this for me for Christmas and I loved it at first, but then it started to get a little boring.

This game (thank goodness) has no time limit so it is very relaxing, and you get to learn about how some of your favorite recipies are made. It is pretty fun making some of the meals actually. Also, another plus is that you get to set the tables and garnish your food and get scored on your food. Also, freestyle mode allows you to make some meals that you have learned or meals similiar to what you have made.

Now for the bad. There is WAY TOO MUCH diolouge between cooking classes which can be really annoying. Also the mini games are just a pain in the but to do. Another thing is that it is not hands on enough, your teacher, Rachel, does at least 60% of the things. The most annoying thing that I found was that after your dad comes home (which is the whole reason you are taking cooking classes so that you can make a meal for him when he comes home) you start again from the beginning but still haven't learned one dish and one technique.

All in all this game is fun, but can get a bit boring, and need some tweeking.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun Game
My daughter says this is a fun game. She tells me that in the game you get to pretend to cook. You receive points on how good your cooking skills are. You get to go into town and get presents and see people. She really likes to play this game and will play for hours at a time.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Nice
I liked it but it ended really fast. Now i dont paly it anymore. And i bought it only a few months ago but i ahvent palyed in a really long time. Plus i ddint really want a story with it i just wanted to cook. And they didnt give me as much freedom as i thought. Sometimes they do things for you and it's just not cool.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A little boring
I bought this game for my 9 yr. old daughter. We both think that the game takes too long to sart i.e. you have to go through A LOT of storyline before you can play. The game also performs some of the steps for you. We are used to playing Cooking Mama which is a little more fast paced. I would recomend this game for a younger child.
