Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AMAZON, YOU HAVE TO POST THIS!
Everyone who said this game is boring is wierd! this is the GREATEST game EVER!!!!!here are the pro's and cons of this game.

pros;
1.good multiplayer.
2.a clear path(you know what you have to do unlike Zelda)
3. fighting moves are AWSOME, especaly murtagh's moves(you can be him in two player for half of the game the other half is brom). Eragon's magic is really fun to use! i loved setting bad guys on fire!

cons;
1.Graphics are about a 3 star in the cutsenes, 4 star in game.
2. about the cut senes, you can skip them and their aren't that many. only the beginning and ending of levels, and sometimes in between to show you what is going on.
3. well, i can''t think of a three.

I give it an overall 5 stars and is a MUST GET GAME!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Complete Disappointment
The game was a complete disappointment. Story line does not hold true to the movie it is supposed to be about. A waste of money. Game can be completed in 12 hours or less. A game is supposed to get more difficult as the game progresses, the final level was the easiest level of all. The game was rushed through the production and shouldn't have been produced if the game designers weren't willing to create a product worth buying. Because of the violence, it isn't appropriate for young children, yet only a young child could enjoy playing this shoddily produced game.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Wow! A fantasy story that borrows liberally from Tolkien, McCaffrey, and Lucas! What an idea!
Look, I'm not here to review the book but if you take a look at my title, that's basically the plot of Eragon. Farmboy named Eragon discovers that he is the last of an ancient race and thus is pursued by a villain who used to be a good guy. Has an old mentor who knew the villain when he was good. On top of this, Eragon can use a telekinetic "Force" called "magic".

But enough of picking on the book. I received this game for Christmas and, being a huge fan of the Lord Of The Rings games, I decided to give it a try. The movie was terrible and I didn't expect much here. I was surprised when I discovered good graphics and some good melee fighting. That's pretty much what it boils down to: melee fighting. Lots and lots of melee fighting. Good to play with a friend, so when the action gets boring, you at least have someone to share in your misery. The graphics are quite good, one of the best aspects of the game. Every level is noticably different in its layout, which provides something to hold your attention.

The boss battles (there are one or two) are as lame as boss battles go. Durza hardly even fights back, and the final battle is easier than all the normal levels. Something is wrong when the huge, climactic final battle comes down to shooting a few arrows and dodging. The levels where you play as Saphira, Eragon's dragon, are kind of awkward and boring.

I can't say I reccommend this game, though the 2-player is really good. It honestly deserves 3 of 5.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Eragon relies entirely on unenthusiastic gameplay that's way too shallow to sustain interest for more than a few minutes.
Both as an action adventure game, and a licensed work, Eragon comes across as substandard in just about every way imaginable. It feels like an unfinished game that was rushed through to release in time for the movie to appear in theaters. The combat is repetitive, the presentation is dull and lifeless, and the entire game suffers from an apparent lack of effort.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Eragon - my kids love it!
I bought this game for my 11 year old for Christmas. He is a huge Eragon fan and has read all of the books. He played the game non-stop for the first few days and I was hearing words like excellent, awesome, etc.

Good buy!
