I LOVE PLAYING MY DS; THOUGH THERE ARE A FEW FLAWS. YOU HAVE TO GO THRU ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH GAME EACH TIME YOU PLAY(MAYBE IT'S DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT GAMES, I DON'T KNOW). I HAVE BRAINAGE 1 AND THERE'S A GAME WHERE THE COLOR COMES UP AND YOU HAVE TO SAY THE COLOR. MOST TIMES THE GAME DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORD BLUE. ALSO, IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY TO SEE IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. LIKE OUTSIDE ESPECIALLY.

My 11-year-old daughter loves her DS. She has been asking for one for a year and was happy to get one of her own. She plays with it as often as we let her.

i'm not the one to play video games but i bought the nintendo ds after i used my friend's. if you like different kind of puzzles i.e. sudoku, cross word puzzles, educational stuff, even playing on the keyboard which helps you to read notes quickly, or learning a language, you'd want to try this out. it's portable and you can carry it everywhere, and the battery lasts a long time before you have to charge it. also, the charger that comes with the ds is portable (the prongs fold in).

I love the style and look of this DS system. It's a plus that the bottom of the unit is a matte finish so the fingers prints won't show and it will not scratch easily. The only problem I have it that my right forefinger tends to sit on the side and it is a little uncomfortable to hold. BUT no pain not gain - I will keep on playing!
