Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Tiny little figure embedded in a stinky fizzy ball
My grandson loved watching the ball dissolve and he likes having the little Ben 10 figures but the figures are too small to do much with (and easy to lose) and the ball, possibly intentionally, smelled alien.

I would buy more if they sold for $.50 apiece but no higher.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - REVEAL THE HIDDEN FIGURES!
The new line of Ben 10 Toys based on the hit Cartoon Network toys is filled with all sorts of variety. One of the more creative toys in the line is the Transforming alien rocks that dissolve in water to reveal a figure hidden inside. Each boxed set comes with two such rocks. This particular set features two of Ben's alter-egos Heatblast and Upgrade.

While the instructions don't specifically categorize this as a bathtub toy, the fragrant scent of the rocks would certainly seem to indicate that this is the intended use. Well whatever the case, my four year old tried it out in the tub and it certainly did make the water more fragrant while taking several minutes for the figure to completely dissolve, revealing the translucent figures inside.

Whether you dissolve them in a bath or maybe just a bowl of water, kids will be filled with anticipation as they watch the rocks fizz and get smaller and smaller to eventually expose their hidden treasure inside. There are five sets in all, covering each of the ten characters than Ben can turn into. This was a lot of fun, particularly for younger kids.
