Few changes from Halo. If you did like Halo I would recommend getting the sequel of course.
Rating: - Halo 2 Limited Edition
All I got was the DVD disc instead of the game disc. So what if it was stated in the description that the package does not contain the game disc. It should be listed and sold under the DVD disc category instead of games. I search under games and this thing was the first one that was listed. Who reads every fine print anyway?
Rating: - 2nd Best in the trilogy
This game is the 2nd best in the Halo trilogy. 1 was incredible, 2 was great, and 3 was dissapointing. Get this edition. Way cooler looking box and cool bonus disk.
Rating: - Loved it
I already had Halo (regular version), but when i bought my 360 i dicided to get another copy for parties. The behind the secne making of disc was really neat to watch aswell!
Rating: - good job Bungi
Excellent game. Only 2 minor criticisms.
- 1) Game is very long, but seems to be unfinished
- 1a) last level is not w/Master Chief, which seems odd.
- 1b) the cut-scenes (which are of minimal importance anyway) seem to have glitches where some parts of the animation appear, then others (not all at once).
- 1c) multiplayer maps were released later for more money. these should have been released free. some of them were merely levels from the game.
- 2) no multiplayer bots. they can do this, they just won't, forcing you to go online to spend more money if you want to play at home against someone else and no friends are over.
Other than these minor gripes, the game is flawless and one of the best games for any system. arguably 2nd only to the original halo. I'd give this a 4.8 or 4.9 if it were possible.
I still wish MS had splintered off a Bungi team and had them develop Halo2 based on the original Halo engine so we wouldn't have to wait so long for the release, while simultaneously developing a new Halo game with the new engine.
