Rating: - a very very long story
At first it was interesting, but then the story goes on and on and it seems it would never reach the end (I find it way longer than Final Fantasy's series stories). There's almost no high-CG sequences (around 3-4 including the opening). The end was kinda cheesy. I would suggest to wait for a price drop before buying it. "Final Fantasy" series are still better than this one.
Rating: - A spectacular game
Some people were worried that the marger by Square and Enix might be a bad thing as the new company released lackluster games at the beginning of it's life as Square Enix. This game undoubtedly puts those rumours to rest. Large, expansive maps offer a lot to explore, and a unique real time combat system gives a feeling of action you won't find in many other RPGs. The side quests are long and rewarding, and character development still remains one of the most, well, developed aspects of any Square game. Not to mention another Square dominated field, the cutscenes are abosolutely gorgeous. I would not only recommend this game to any RPG enthusiast, but to any game fan in general. A must own.
Rating: - Very Addictive
This is one of the best RPG that i have ever played, being a hardcore Final Fantasy fan i put this game up with Final Fantasy. Do not even think of renting the game before buying it "BUY THE GAME IT IS A MUST"
Rating: - this game is so cooli
at first i wasn't very sure what i was doing buying a game called STAR OCEAN. I was sort of nervous at first but this game is probably one of the best teen games that you can play. I would highly recommend this game to any one who likes adventure, action and lots of fighting.(oh ya go fighting)......hmmmm also i would most likely recommend this game to guys,(even though I'm a girl).
and finally if you are looking for some thing that you can also upgrade weapons this is definitally the game for you soooo go out and buy it NOW.
