My daughter finished this game in an hour. She is 5 yrs old. I thought she wouldn't play it again because it was so easy, but she plays it occassionally. There are better Barbie games like Barbie Beauty Boutique which my daughter plays ALL THE TIME. Skip this one.

If your child whom is 5 is intelligent, why not give her something in another age bracket and quit bragging.Overall this game is fun for my 5 year old and loves to play it everyday. It is very cute and you can decorate cakes and have hours of play. It keeps my children busy!

i love this game and what that person said about it not being educational INSULTS ME! this is a creative game that gives you lots of options! you can bake cakes and you can decorate it with flowers you pick from the garden. your daughtr can have so much fun making a dress ANY WAY SHE WANTS! she can make the top and bottom give it a rainbow color or just white and even design it with flowers. you can also put flowers on the dress! you may even design the flower girls dress and you have lots of option of design for both the bride and the flower girl. you also have your memory games of course! THATS EDUCATIONAL! it helps your mind. and there is the game of delevering little invations to the cute animals. you can also make music and help out the band with their songs! its a challenging game yet its a role-play! there is more games but i cant remember. anyway its a wonderfull game for your little girl or even your teenage girl because it sure is an A+ game! oh yah another game i remember is were you have the beautiful bride wearing the dress you made and so is the flower girl and your groom is there and so is the cake with all the animal friends and you must design the backround, the frame and more! its an exellent game!

This was actually my second purchase of this CD. My daughter had gotten it as a present and after much play time it was broken. Her and my son asked for it so often that I bought this second copy. My 4 year old daughter loves it as well as my 6 year old son. They never seem to tire of it. It is so popular with their cousins that they ask to play it first when they visit. Highly recommend this computer game.

Unfortunately, my daughter loves this game and will not choose other software games over this one. What really irritates me is the whole "Software for Girls" marketing statement. My daughter loves Barbie, but she is also a very intelligent 5 year old who excels at other appropriately challenging games. What kind of message is Barbie trying to send girls!??!!! To me, it is insulting. You can make it both fun and educational as other character software titles have, such as Blues Clues and the Disney series. You would be much better off choosing a different character that your child loves, such as Dora. Hopefully, the latest titles from Barbie are more challenging.
