Amazon.com Product Description:
Black & Bruised thrusts players into the colorful world of 18 boxers and 18 different arenas. High-quality cartoon cel-shading technology showcases the game’s cartoonesque visuals and cleverly exaggerates gameplay. The game features pressure-sensitive controls, easy to learn but hard to master, which provide players a full sense of control over their boxers. Player immersion is further heightened with the use of skeletal motion and skin-morphing technology, which creates fluid character movements.

Players learn the life story of each boxer and how winning will benefit them. Characters are differentiated not only by their look but by their individual personalities, which are enhanced by the game’s advanced AI system. More than 30 unique and detailed facial animations convey the boxer’s mood and reaction to landed punches. Additional game features include five modes of play (training, single, championship, survival, and two-player), a choice of first-person or close-up third-person camera viewpoints, and boxer’s life mode, which offers full-motion video updates to reflect the impact of the fight’s outcome on the character’s life. Special effects include stars, perspiration, particle effects, and explosions that indicate the effectiveness of a particular punch.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Plays like the last knockout king games for ps2 and gamecube
I guess if this was backed by EAsports and it had real boxers it would be called knockout kings 2004.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Decent Game, But heres what it Lacks
1. No Season Mode: Even if they made a pointless season mode, it would still have been better than Nothing. 2. NO create a Boxer, which coulda' gave the game insane replay factor 3.No use of Money. 4. No upgrades to skills or experience 5. NO instant Kos: in most matches you have to knock the guy down 4-5 times to win, Even if You pummel the guy you wont get an instant KO. 6. The combos are kinda hard, so gameplay just turns into button smashing. If these things were present You would see Black and Bruised with the top sellers, maybe we'll get lucky in Black & Bruised 2, until then pick this one up off eBay

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Copy of Boxing Fever
Just by looking at the cover of this game reminds me of Boxing Fever for the GameBoy Advance, only with more enhanced graphics.
But,I'm still gonna' get it......
