Amazon.com Review: Freekstyle, while generally a strong game, can't help but be the lesser cousin of EA Sports Big's smash hits SSX and SSX Tricky. The moves are more complicated, the learning curve is steeper, and the charm is relatively absent for this title compared to its more successful predecessors. And woe to those who miss a steep jump and expect to hit Restart, as in SSX. You'll be forced to take the jump again, with much less velocity than before you wiped out. Plus, you'll need to hit it over and over and over, a fact that makes initial play somewhat tedious.
Still, it's unfair to punish Electronic Arts for their past perfection. On its own, Freekstyle has plenty to keep motocross fans happy: courses both for tricking and racing, real-world riders, and complicated road maps filled with pleasing secret shortcuts. --Jennifer Hauseman

This game is kind of gross... leann tweeden is kind of naughty and the guys have no shirts. Otherwise, its pretty fun because you get to do cool tricks. Truthfully, though, the only level i can win in is the first one, monumental monoplex. the rest are all crowded with crazy scenery and you can't move around without crashing. It's ridiculous. Being a female, i wanted a female character, but they only had leann and stefy, two weird girls with a naugty costume and a strange hairdo and style, respectively. Therefore i searched high and low for cheats to unlock jessica patterson.
here are some important cheats you need to use:
ALLFREEK- All players
YARDSALE- All clothes
TRAKMEET- (it's spelt that way--believe me) All tracks
WHEELS- All bikes
POPULATE- All characters
It's a boring game, but with some minor improvements, it's not that bad!

This is a great game! Here are the pros: great graphics, cool tricks, real cyclers, it has codes, and you can't get bored of it. Here are the cons: it is really hard to become a freakstyle legend. Other than that the game ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But little kids can get kinda frustrated because they can't come in first. A great racer is Brian Deegan. Use the code "LOKSMITH", go to Brian Deegan, and then choose his last bike. Go to "Burn It Up" race track. You will probably win.

Freekstyle is one of the best games I ever played before. I recommecend this for people who watch the X Games.

I borrowed my friend's GB Copy, And LOVED it. So about 6 Months later, I bought the PS2 copy. I got it and tryed it out, but it wouln't load! So I took a paper towel and wiped it down, popped it, and it worked like a charm! Loved it ever since.
