Rating: - Not to be confused with PS version...
I haven't actually played the playstation version of this game, but having seen the screenshots for it and read some descriptions, I know that ithardly compares to the PC version. Graphics are superb, control is top-notch, and sound is good (the commentator sounds like the mountain king hero on Warcraft III, I think). Another thing worth mentioning - I'm using Windows XP, and SBK 2000 DOES work on my computer! I've heard some confusion over which versions of SBK work on XP and which do not. I'll tell you what's strange though - I got the demo for SBK 2000 and it would only run in Windows 95/98 compatibility mode. When I got the full version, it did not want to do this and worked fine in Windows XP. I also got the SBK 2001 demo and it slap-dab DID NOT WORK (as many of you probably already know). SBK 2001 is what I would have really wanted and it is a SHAME EA Sports or Milestone hasn't done anything about it (but I doubt there is enough of a difference in the 2001 version from the 2000 version to cry about missing out on). Nevertheless, if you're in the same boat I was, using xp and looking for the BEST superbike racing game you can get, SBK 2000 is whacha need. (Screw Moto GP)
