It's great to be able to connect to LIVE. Configuring is somewhat of a pain, but worth it.

Yes this product does work for the 360 and it works great! We have the 360 in our basement and the router in the floor above and we have no connection problems at all. Great value for half the price. However you need to have WEP security settings on your internet. You can see what you have by going to view available wireless connections and right click on your wireless network and go to properties.

I got this product because I did not want to pay $90-100 to connect to xbox live. I read the reviews, and sure enough...works PERFECTLY on my Xbox 360. You just plug it in, don't put the cd in, and put in your WEP security code. And just like that you're hooked up! And I saved $50 by getting this instead of the one made for the 360.
This is made by Microsoft for the original xbox, but works seamlessly with the 360 if you have WEP security. Definitely worth the savings! I've recommended this to all my friends who haven't yet bought the wireless adapter.

After reading all the reviews for this product, we decided to purchase this item over the 360 version. However, it would not connect to our wireless system. I don't really know what the problem was, but my husband tried connecting it several times. He finally got too frustrated after an hour or so and went to Game Stop to buy the 360 version. We had no problem connecting with that one. So, I'm just warning that it may not be as "easy" as some said it was.
