Amazon.com Review: Imagine insane jumps, wild off-road courses, and crazy stunts that could only be performed in the make-believe world of video games. Add to that the power of the PlayStation2 system, and you have all the ingredients of an arcade classic racing title on the PS2.
The physics in ATV Offroad Fury are absolutely incredible. Drivers and ATVs react accordingly as they hit the ground, and other riders need to be wary when someone takes a wipeout--one fall on these tight courses can send a shockwave of collisions through the pack.
The game provides arcade-style controls, which fit perfectly with the best aspects of the game. ATV Offroad Fury is one game that is best played with friends, as the artificial intelligence is unrealistically consistent. If you mess up, computer-controlled riders slow down to offer you a chance to get back into things. It does not seem to matter how poorly a player does for the first three laps of a five-lap race. If no mistakes are made in the final two laps, the computer opponents are easily overtaken.
The tracks are separated into three distinct groups: indoors, outdoors, and freestyle. The indoor tracks are fairly similar, as they are the same type of supercross tracks that you would see in a motocross game. The outdoor tracks, however, show much more variety in their terrains and backgrounds. From lush forests to harsh deserts all the way to snow-covered tundra, every track provides a different experience. The game's sound is merely decent; hearing those high-pitched engines at full throttle for too long begins to sound like you are being chased by a pack of killer bees.
Overall, ATV is a solid game that most everyone will want to try. The multiplayer mode really makes for a great party game, not only for its earnest competitiveness, but also for the entertainment value of the crashes and lunatic jumps and stunts. --Todd Mowatt

Rating: - (yawn...)
This game is just...ok. Nothing too memorable or mind-blowing. My kids seem to enjoy it a little bit more than I do, but even they get bored with it after 10 minutes or so. The graphics are good. The controls are way too sensitive; it doesn't take much to mess up your ride over, and over, and over again. Boring. My main gripe is the background music (think 90's grunge metal), and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off. Overall I would not recommend it or buy it again.
Rating: - A bit dated, but still good.
I've gotten interested in ATVs recently. Unfortunately, a sport ATV is slightly out of my price range right now. So, I did the next best thing: bought this video game.
The game is a bit dated. The graphics are not on par with today's newer ATV racing games. However, you can still enjoy this game. And the sounds of the game's ATVs are the actual sounds of their real-world counterpart, for example. The 2-stroke Yamaha Banshee has been discontinued. If ever you wanted to hear the eerie, haunting sound of that ATV today, you will have to get this game. Due to increasingly stringent regulations, some of the ATVs in the game are no longer made. You won't be hearing that famous Yamaha Banshee wail anymore outside the game.
The game itself is straightforward. And so are the controls. However, most of the "games within the game" are challenging. Especially the Pro Career mode. It is still a good game. The simple controls make this game highly recommended for younger players.
Rating: - Great game
I liked ATV OFF ROAD FURY because it is very entertaining. You can choose drivers and ATV'S. There are cheat modes so that you never die. You can unlock cool games and earn points to buy driving gear. There are ATV'S that help you win in races. There's freestyle mode, 2 player mode, 3 player mode, and 4 player mode. There is also single player mode. You can play with computer player in races. My 5 year old brother and I love it! We think that it is a great game.
Rating: - A Very Fun Game But It Needs Help In Making More Boards
This is a great game. Alot of fun to play. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have a ton of boards. An unbelievable game needs to have many boards to play at. I love racing Games. The make you get more competitive. I'm not normally into video games but I like these types of games. So I believe that you should get this game. It's fun and competitive.
Rating: - Offroad fury: Not any good
Now this game has gotten great reviews. A lot of my freinds have it and love it. But I just dont understand why. Wiping out is cool and a lot of fun on the stunt mode and thats why I gave it the 2 stars. Racing is boring. I tjought ATVs would of worked but I guess they didnt.
