Amazon.com Product Description:
The Dual Impact Gamepad Controller is a standard PlayStation and PlayStation2 controller. It features four analog fire buttons, two analog shoulder triggers, two analog sticks, and dual vibration feedback. It also has a mode switch to go from analog to digital.

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Looks nice, but functions poorly.
Everyone likes saving money, and this controller is cheaper by far, but it's not worth it. Aside from the occasionally working buttons and tricky directional-pad, the worst crime comes from the rumble feature. If you're playing a game that uses the rumble feature a lot, you're going to discover that [inferior] plastic shaking in your hands not only feels wrong, but it sounds wrong, too. I had people from way across the room comment on the loud noises coming from the vibrations of this plastic wonder. Do yourself a favor and just buy the real thing instead of this one.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - bad controller
basically this controller stinks(in otherwards Don't buy it from anywhere) my dad got it for me and I guess he didn't now anything about it. the if i push up it acts like X the only good thing is that it is comfortable and affordable

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Affordable, yes. Comfortable, yes. Good controller, no.
First thing's first. Unless you have big hands that don't fit the normal ps2 controller, buy the sony controller.
I bought this controller thinking it would be good enough for what I paid for it, seeing I just needed a 2nd controller. I brought it home, plugged it in, and already it started giving me problems. The R1 and L1 buttons barely work, and some times you can barely tell if you pushed them (they don't have that nice little click the DualShocks have). Then, while playing Madden, I found an even more annoying problem, the left analog stick only worked from side to side. When I pushed it forward or back, nothing happened. Other than that, the controller worked okay.
The controller could have been very good, it has a nice feel and the rumblers are a little stronger than the DualShock. Also, the D-pad is alot more comfortable.
I think InterAct should have focused a little more on quality and durability. The gamepad should not be half broken by the time it reaches your home. (P.S. InterAct makes other good stuff, though.)
So, my advice, don't buy it. Buy the DualShock 2. It costs more, but its durable, high quality, and still probably the best controller out there.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not as good as the standard controller
To begin with, the design on the Dual Impact Gamepad Controller perfectly fits your hands. It's a bit on the large side, so if you're a younger gamer, I'd stick with the proportionally smaller controllers. Being a teenager and not yet fully grown, I find it hard to reach the "Select" and "Start" buttons without looking down.

That's about as far as my praise goes those. When I bought the controller, I only picked this one because I needed a controller to play Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance with my friend, and my mother didn't feel like taking the 20 minute drive back to KB Toys to buy the standard DualShock 2 Controller. So, we hopped in the car and hurried over to Blockbuster and bought the controller.

As soon as I plugged it in, my friend started to be really bad at playing, which is quite odd considering he's one of the best gamers I know. He was complaining that the character wouldn't respond to his commands when he told him to attack. So we switched controller and I started playing. To attack, I sometimes had to smash the X button. It got really annoying.

So, in summary, I'd recomend spending the extra 5 dollars and buy the standard controller.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - The Controller stinks
Once i bought the controller it was good i really liked it until 2 days later it broke. The Controller Stinks don't get it.
