- FUN, BUT IT NEEDS A TUNE-UP 7.5 OUT OF 10
Rush 2049 is a decent racing game for the Nintendo 64 that while it has been worn by age, it's still fun to play. The tracks are still fun to race around and still look good despite the age of the game. The cars still look great and are still a lot of fun to drive. Multiplayer is still great and the stunt arenas are still fun. There is one issue that mars this game; it's the fact that the game starts to feel mundane after a period of time, and it won't exactly make you forget Mario Kart 64. Unfortunately, with a presence like Mario Kart on the N64, chances are this game has been long-forgotten and in some ways it is kind of a forgotten gem that is likely collecting dust in people's N64 collections instead of being played like it should.

This is the best video game ever! Better than any of the "Grand Theft Auto" games, this one is amazing fun! Tons of secret stuff to do!

this is a very fun game i found this game 2 b creative because of da future details of da cities and cars this game possess and da graphics are great looking at but some of da cars are difficult 2 control at first if u play this game everyday u should have advantage of controlling da harder cars i heart da short cuts n da game which makes it more interesting a winning a race i liked da fact da they have practice mode 2 get ur game up 4 da race so u have more than enough time 2 find all da short cuts 2 win da race da music is off da charts as it has a good catchy beat blended n with da future sound effects 2 da beat of da song i love have this is options of u havin da choice of what time u want 2 race how u want 2 race and who u want 2 race just kidding u have 2 do like me rush with ur younger brother and cousins 2 make this game from single player 2 a multi player game this game gives a lot of information about da future but i would have mind 2 see o robot but i can fly my car n da sky like da jetson but i think was only when i was facing my brother n battle option as this game has battle cars u can use 2 battle against a your opponent 2 win da match o game also this game give me a perfect perspective on how da future is likely 2 look like n one of da tracks n this game there is a long hill i enjoy riding on it makes u feel like u r n own world amusement park n da game when u ride on da long steep hill and da hill is very long about 300 or 500 long it looks almost like a water fall da hill i m talking about at night i like looking at da big 3 d moon at night (which reminds me of what bright almight jim carrey did 2 da moon 2 impress his wife 2 gave her love again when he went crazy because he thought dat God wasn't doing anything 4 him because he was having a lot of bad luck n da movie) if u don't have this game get it because once he play it u can't stop but don't overall play it because it migth get boring after a while Joe Brown

Say, " CooL! it deserves 5
Stars!" PLUS it's got a stunt course and a battle course (but for 2-4 players, or so the manual said). PLUS there's circuit race, practice, single race, a few cars to choose from, a fog feature and wind.I would recommend this to anyone.

THIS GAME ROCKS! I love this game-ever since I bought it. This game must have about a million pros-in fact, here is my chart.

Pros:

1. Sweet Graphics
2. Best sound for any console
3. Major awsome tracks
4. Huje jumps- for massive air (I'm talkin' hundreds of feet)
5. Many awsomley detailed futuristic cars
6. Best Gameplay for any game
7. So fun, you'll play it 24/7

Cons:

1. needs memory card in order to save

Even though there is one con-doesn't meen anything! The multiplayer mode is very excellent too! You get multiplayer:

1. Stunt mode
2. Battle
3. Single race
4. practice

and more!

Stunt:

In stunt mode, you get four tracks to do corkscrews, endoes, twists turns, flips-every trick in the world! The wing feature also allows you to glide through the air-and do major awsome stunts easier! Sweet! (available in 1player mode, also)

Battle:

In battle mode, you get 8 awsome futuristic arenas with sweet weapons:

1. CHAINGUN-Everyone's favorite, just shoot this automatic weapon and blow your opponent's head off!

2. RIFLE-This is your default weapon. It is bad, but you could give him some damage.

3. ROCKET LAUNCHER-Yeah. Shoots 20-50 rockets that could do quite some damage. Explosion sounds are awsome.

4. TORPEDO LAUNCHER-One of the best weapons. Only 3, but once fired, they follow the opponent-like, if he turns, it turns. One hit for this baby and your opponent is roadkill.

5. FASER-THINGY-I don't know what this thing is-either a plasma gun or a technical green bullet thingy or something else. It shoots green liquid-I don't know. Just play the game and you'll see.

6. MINE LAYER-Lays mines-one hit and kablamo!

7. BLAST SHOCKWAVE GUN-This thing, when you pick it up, goes on top of your car. When you fire it, it makes a shockwave (air too) that travels and knocks over or kills any car within a 20 foot radius. Pretty awsome. Cool.

8. NUCLEAR RAMMER-This weapon is hard to use-but could also be a shield and exterminates an opponent with one hit. It is like a mini-sattelite that fits in the front of your car. When you ram into someone with it, it blows them up. Also, if someone is in front of you and fires a torpedo or rocket or something, the rammer absorbs the stinking hit! (But only if in front or the direction pointed in)

I think I covered all of the weapons and here are the powers you pick up in battle mode.

WRENCH-Gives you maximum health; gives all your health back

SHIELD-Shields you for about three to five minutes

INVISIBILITY-Makes you invisible for two minutes

That's the powerups.

Now, what is good about single races is that you can customize the track-make it backwords, mirror it, increse wind, and increase amount of fog.

This game is awsome-and you must buy it. I recomend it for everyone. IT'S AWSOME! BUY IT!
