Very well done.I like arcade mode in which you can heat up and do things like in NBA jam like the flaming and smoking ball and monster dunks and such!I love the 3 point contest,Man! Chris Mullen is tough to beat on the higher levels! Only downside is no dunking contest, otherwise as good as it gets for b-ball on the 64!!!
Rating: - NBA Live 2000 is the greatest basketball game for N64.
NBA Live is awesome. The graphics are incredible for the N64. NBA Live beats NBA Jam and NBA Courtside with Kobe Bryant 1 and 2 by a longshot. I am probably the biggest Lakers fan ever so I always use the Lakers. My Dad loves this game he always wants to play but he seldom wins. I tell him the Celtics stink but he doesn't listen. And I need to make one thing clear Kobe Bryant is the GREATEST basketball player ever. He could kick Michael Jordan's butt. Now back to the game. I love the 3-point shootout. It is probably the best part of the game except the one-on-one with Michael Jordan. The Lakers are the best team in the game. I don't know why Tim Duncan is on the cover of the game. He couldn't beat the worst player in the NBA. I won't mention any names. This game is really cool. I made up a custom team that's more like the PERFECT Dream Team. I like the create a player feature. I have made players that can jump from half-court in arcade mode and do a triple windmill dunk. I would give this game ten stars if I could. Overall this game rocks. Bye it if you can still find it.

If you want to win this game you need to pick up keith closs, charles shackleford, brent price, vinny del negro, detlef schrempf, dwayne schintzius, steve kerr, sam perkins, and fred hoiberg. I dominated this game on superstar with these key players.

NBA LIVE 2000 lives up to be a very great game. Having arcade mode with exaggerated dunks to the real nba game. It even has Michael Jordan 1 on 1 for a challenge and 3 poing shootout for fun. You can play the playoffs or play the whole season in season mode. People who have previous versions of nba live will have a great time.

This is a good game, and if you dont own the previous years' titles, definately buy it. It just seems that they dont add new features to make the game more interesting. They need some sort of franchise mode to make it better. It does have close to, if not the best gameplay though. I also have NBAJam2001, and that has the franchise mode, but it is not anywhere near as good when you are actually playing the game. If you dont have previous years' games, or if you want the updated rosters, buy this one!
