Amazon.com Review:
The South Park phenomenon leaps from the tube to the PC in this hilarious adult-themed game inspired by the hit TV series. A comet's close call with earth has unleashed a bizarre assortment of mutant turkeys and aliens on the mountain town, and naturally it's up to the kids to save the day. While you switch between the show's four main characters with the tap of a button, the kids battle the baddies on the outskirts of town using an arsenal of weapons ranging from snowballs (including the yellow variety) and sponge dart guns to toilet plungers and cow-firing bazookas.

Though South Park fans will love the original voices and the 3-D translation of the show's signature flat animation style, hardcore gamers may tire of the single player mode's somewhat repetitive levels and overall lack of intensity. But for those seeking a playfully entertaining romp through South Park's ever-wintry world, this game delivers the fun. We spent the majority of our testing time playing in the multiplayer mode, a fast-paced free-for-all that kept us laughing into the wee hours of night. --Eric Twelker

Amazon.com Product Description:
From the deep reaches of space, a horror approaches. Once in a great while, the malevolent forces of the universe combine to form a force of evil so concentrated, so pure, that no bastion of goodness and decency can stand against it. It hurls through the universe toward its destination: the planet Earth. The town to be victimized--South Park, Colorado--is a quaint little town, nestled in the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Where better to terrorize good and decent folk--yeah, right!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - A simplistic yet fun game in 1999, but a total bore now
I rather enjoyed playing this South Park game when it first came out back in 1999. It was fun to roam around the town as Cartman, Stan, Kyle, or Kenny and take on turkeys, cows, aliens, etc., with such unique weapons as snowballs (white as well as yellow), dodge balls, toilet plungers, and chicken launchers. The game environment was nothing special even for its own time, with a few 3-D visuals thrown on top of a world pretty similar to what you see on television, and there was basically no interaction in between characters, yet such little things as listening to Cartman yell and complain when being attacked kept me playing. It had been quite a while since I played South Park, so I decided to give it another whirl. The game has not aged well at all. Having explored some pretty stunning vistas over the last four years' worth of gaming, I now find this game incredibly bland and awkward. I quickly realized that this is no longer any fun whatsoever. Children might still get some kicks out of it, but anyone who calls himself/herself a gamer of any sort will not. It is unfortunate, but this is the way of most computer games; new technology can make a five-year-old game look like something from the Pong era. Balancing the four-star fun I originally had playing South Park (noting as well the fact that its online multiplayer mode offered some appeal to those unsatisfied with the single-player experience) with the two-star disappointment I feel at this later time, I'm going to strike the balance and give it three stars.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Stick to Comedy Central
They are good on TV but the game is terrible. Worst game I ever played. Has nothing to do with South Park

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Run, don't walk....away from this turkey!
This game may have been mildly amusing if it hadn't been so incredibly boring. The lack of an option to save the game during a level instead of between levels only is a dead giveaway that this is nothing more than a lame console port.

Sure, the weapons may be original and fun, but all you get to do is shoot turkeys, turkeys, and more turkeys. Oh, and a cow or two. That's it. No way to explore the wonderful world of South Park in this strictly linear waste of time. I would have liked to do the mulitiplayer, but I couldn't bring myself to try to get my friends to buy it-I want them to stay friends!

After all the hype about understanding the difference between PC gamers and console gamers, Acclaim's release of this poorly-done port was almost criminal.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - For teens of all ages!
This game is great for teens. It is to una propriate for kids and adults. If you like te show then buy this. From the story mode when you try to defeat thinngs from turkeys to killer toys with weapons from snowballs to cow launchers. In the multiplayer mode you defeat other players with weapons.
