Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Truly disappointing entry in the Star Wars game library
Given the popularity of "Star Wars" and scenarios read-made for video gaming, it's quite hard to create a "Star Wars" game that just leaves one flat. Alas, the makers of "Rebel Assault 2" have managed to achieve that dubious goal. This game can easily be played and then discarded without ever really having a desire to play it again. The missions that are presented are quite pedestrian in nature and do not tend to spark the imagination of the player. Yet, there are a couple of missions that are just unbelievably hard to beat and do not give the player any degrees of satisfaction when they are beaten. It is the lackluster gameplay and poor control that make those levels so tough, not any sort of in-board challenge.

The Playstation version of this game is doubly irritating. It requires two CDs to play the entire game. Yet, it would seem that the quality of the game and the number of levels really only requires one CD. Furthermore, there are no extras of any kind that would justify this game being spread across two CDs.

All in all, playing this game was a very disappointing experience. It is not recommended for anyone who really wants to immerse themselves in the "Star Wars" universe. Try the "Rogue Squadron" series on Nintendo for that.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Entertaining
These two games are excellent additions to the Star Wars Universe of games! It is a regular RPG that follows the storyline of Rookie One who, is considered to be a Luke Skywalker because Rookie One blows up the Death Star in Rebel Assault 1. It is fun to see a Luke-type POV and play as him.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - the game itself
The game is a very, good controlling game, the graphics are good, but a few more features could have been added
